So even in the event of a complete host server failure, your Server Cloud data is always protected.

Only pay for the time you use

Server Cloud is purchased by the month but that doesn’t mean you’re locked in. You can upgrade, downgrade or even cancel at anytime during the month and you’ll automatically receive prorated service credits for any unused time. These service credits will be directly applied to your next bill as a discount. An hourly utility billing option will be available in the future.

How It Works

Rapid deployment and hosting critical applications drove the creation of the Server Cloud.  

All Server Cloud virtual machines are hosted on dual processor Intel Xeon “Nehalem” servers running the Ubuntu Server Linux distribution and using KVM hypervisor for server virtualization. All Server Cloud instances are allocated dedicated CPU and dedicated RAM resources. This ensures the performance of your Server Cloud. No other customer can negatively impact your Server Cloud’s performance.

The CPU resources are allocated in vCPUs. A vCPU is the processing equivalent of ½ of a Intel Xeon E5520 core.

Your image resides on Server Cloud’s highly available SAN storage platform and is completely independent of the host server providing the computing resources. This is where the high availability of our Server Cloud come in. If the hardware on the host server providing the computing resources were to fail, your virtual server can be instantly booted from any other host server reducing potential downtime from a hardware failure.

And if you want to increase computing resources on your Server Cloud virtual server, it’s as simple as selecting RAM and CPU resources from a drop down list and your server is automatically rebooted with the additional resources.
